Solstice Blessings

solstice vitality circle winter Dec 18, 2023

The Winter Solstice (the longest night and shortest day of the year) is here. The Solstice represents the end of the pendulum swing from light to dark through the solar year.

Now is a time of dreaming, intuition, planting seeds of intention, resting more, and rebuilding from any type of depletion we may be experiencing. The days will soon start to grow longer toward the Spring Equinox and that stirring energy will be felt within us too.

For now, let this dark time of the year nourish you to sustain your visions and dreams through the coming solar year.

In honor of the longest night of this year, here is a Rilke poem to invite you into the medicine of the Winter Solstice - the end of one solar year and the beginning of another.

The Night by Rilke

You, darkness, of whom I am born–

I love you more than the flame
that limits the world
to the circle it illuminates
and excludes all the rest.

But the dark embraces everything:
shapes and shadows, creatures and me,
people, nations–just as they are.

It lets me imagine
a great presence stirring beside me.

I believe in the night.

This Winter Solstice may we re-imagine what our creativity, connectivity, and joy can be in the coming solar year in a way that creates health for all ecosystems.

I believe we are capable of stirring a world with greater love and beauty into being. If doing that within the most powerful container I have built, the Vitality Circle, calls to you, keep in mind that we are opening enrollment in January. Curious to grab a spot now? Lets chat!

Set your intentions this Solstice. Welcome the blessings to come in this solar return.
