If you are looking for a gentle digestive tea, one that will also support clearing toxins from the body and supporting your digestive fire, look no further than the traditional Ayurvedic Cumin, Coriander, and Fennel Tea (CCF Tea).

Used for millennia, this tea is super easy to make and has a multitude of benefits.

Key CCF Health Benefits:

  • Improves Digestion: Stimulates your digestive fire, known in Ayurveda as agni, helping your body break down food smoothly.

  • Reduces Bloating and Gas: Relieves abdominal discomfort, cramping, and trapped gas after meals.

  • Aids Gentle Detox: Acts as a mild diuretic to help flush toxins and reduce excess water retention.

  • Balances Blood Sugar: Ingredients like coriander and cumin support healthy metabolic function and glucose control.

  • Calms the Mind and Gut: Eases inflammation linked to digestive irritation and promotes a soothing, grounding daily ritual.

Each ingredient adds its own special magic to create a blend that has a synergy that benefits all the tissue layers.

It's so simple to make. Try this recipe!

CCF Tea Recipe

1 teaspoon Cumin seeds

1 teaspoon Coriander seeds

1 teaspoon Fennel seeds

Add these seeds to one quart (4 cups) of water in a pot and bring to a boil. Cover and boil for 10 minutes. Strain out seeds and drink once the tea cools a bit.

Often CCF is used as part of seasonal detoxes. (You can also order CCF from Banyan Botanicals).
